Absolutely my new favorite dessert. Salty-sweet graham cracker crust, silky caramel toffee filling, sliced bananas, and whipped cream on top. My family loves this easy dessert recipe!

Ingredients

  • graham cracker
    12 pcs
  • sugar
    5 tbsp
  • butter
    7 tbsp
  • butter
    0.5 cup
  • brown sugar
    0.5 cup
  • sweetened condensed milk
    226.8 g
  • banana
    2 pcs
  • heavy cream
    1.3 cup
  • sugar
    0.3 cup
  • vanilla bean paste
    1 tsp
  • chocolate
    1 pcs

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix crust ingredients and press into a 9-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over low to medium heat. Set a timer for 5 minutes; heat gently while stirring continuously.

  3. 3

Add sweetened condensed milk; stir or whisk to incorporate. Bring it up to a gentle boil; stir or whisk continuously for 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

Pour the toffee into the cooled crust. Let it rest on the counter for 1-2 hours until the toffee is cooled and dry to the touch.

  5. 5

Using an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla until medium peaks form.

  6. 6

When the top is set, arrange sliced bananas on top in a single layer. Add whipped cream; spread it to cover. Top the whole thing with chocolate shavings.

  7. 7

Serve immediately at room temperature, or chill in the fridge for a few hours.
